Some advice for fans who want to be part of country music history by attending the farewell tour 2013 is that they need to hurry. Concert tickets are selling fast for all dates on the schedule and tickets have completely sold out in many of the venues through official ticket vendors. Fans who were unable to purchase tickets for the first round of the tour may still be able to see the show, but will have to wait. Once the schedule is set for the second leg of the tour, concert tickets will go on sale again.
This isn't the first time that the King and Queen of Country have teamed up for a tour. They have worked together in the past and have recently come off of a sold-out twelve concert tour in 2012. As for the farewell tour, Strait has hinted that there are some surprises in store for concert-goers that may not be announced in advance. Guest artists are slated to perform for single concerts throughout the tour, with Miranda Lambert and the Randy Rogers Band among them. The two-year extravaganza is expected to be an emotionally charged, exciting tribute full of hits from two of the most beloved icons in country music.
